Summary
My name is Mimmo Lagonigro and I have a technical background in mechanical engineering, which I have consolidated with 360° experience in CAD/CAM/CAS design, using highly specialized software and hardware.
I deal with designing and creating prototypes in the Industrial Design and Automotive sectors, using various IT tools, both software and hardware.
I am a determined person, but I like to achieve goals by sharing and collaborating with a work team, when possible. I have always been passionate about new technologies: 3D printers, 3D scanners, artificial intelligence, androids and cyborgs, PC hardware, etc.
I consider IT tools as simple "tools".
Before using the PC, I played with airbrush, fiberglass and carbon fiber, modeled clay to make prototypes and made DIY hardware.
The applications I prefer to use are: SketchBook Pro, Rhinoceros, Keyshot. I regularly participate in various contests on industry portals such as GrabCAD, ArtStation etc.
